Our restaurant is a real rarity: a pub with its own brewery. The AH-brewery brings the old South Tyrolean tradition of beer-brewing back to life.

The menu is laced with many beer specialities like a beer soup with "Graukäse" (cottage cheese); the "Gschwollenen" (type of sausage) from our Wurst-Kuchl (sausage kitchen); and steaks of angus beef in beer sauce, which is served with home-made "Treberbrot" (type of bread). On the extensive menu you can find both traditional Tyrolean dishes as well as authentic Italian cuisine. Not to mention the delicious desserts, which provide a perfect finish.

Characterized by many glass fronts, nature is being integrated and its presence reinforced by many wooden elements, and creates a striking contrast with the modern architecture. Typical pub brewery atmosphere can be found in the Tyrolean "Stube" (lounge restaurant) with an inviting fireplace, country-style wooden panelling and hand-carved chair backs and in the "Braustube" (brewery pub) with two brewing kettles. All of the rooms have a slightly different ambiance but still merge to create that unique rustic atmosphere. We also offer an exclusive smoking area.

The cartoon emblems on the beer mugs and interior décor – designed by Jochen Gasser – are meant to remind guests of Andreas Hofer and the fights for freedom 200 years ago; they bring South Tyrolean history closer to the people. The caricatures contribute to Tyrolean tradition and fill the old beer culture with new life!
